Johnny A. Milner Sr., 81, of Shelbyville died Tuesday, November 24, 2020 after a brief battle with cancer. There will be no visitation or funeral services. Doak-Howell Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

The weekend gets off to a pretty good start but then things go downhill with a chance of rain developing Sunday afternoon — and then we bring the S word into the forecast for the first time this year with snow mixing in Sunday night and Monday. The high temperature on Monday afternoon will probably not get out of the 30s and drop to near 22 degrees by Tuesday morning. Sara Dianne Green, 68, of Shelbyville died Wednesday, November 25, 2020. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, November 28, 2020, at Willow Mount Cemetery. Brother Kenneth Smith will officiate. Visitation will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel.

Reverend Clarence W. McGee, 87, of Shelbyville died Monday, November 23, 2020. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Sunday, November 29, 2020, at Willow Mount Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Feldhaus Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.

John Richardson White, 75, of Lynchburg died Tuesday, November 24th, 2020 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. He was an attorney with the firm of Bobo, Hunt and White in Shelbyville. A private graveside service will be held and a Celebration of Life service is being planned for a later date. Kilgore Funeral Home, Tullahoma, is handling arrangements.

Robert Carol Jones III died Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital after an extended illness. A gathering of family and friends will be held to celebrate his life from 4-7 p.m Sunday at Doak-Howell Funeral Home.

Elizabeth Marie Hestle Gassaway, 48, of the Wheel community died Thursday, November 26, 2020, after an extended illness. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Edgemont Baptist Church with Pastor Steve Murphree officiating. Burial will follow at Jones Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Saturday at the church. Doak-Howell Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Benjamin “Ben” Yates, 45, of Peytonsville died Wednesday, November 25, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at King Cemetery on Gosey Hill Road in Franklin. Visitation will be 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Sunday at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home in Franklin.
