Things are looking pretty good as we go into the weekend and begin a dry spell of weather that could last five to seven days. Afternoon highs will be in the upper 40s for the weekend and it will drop into the upper 20s at night. By next Wednesday and Thursday we could be looking at 55 degrees and sunny skies! I am expecting colder weather to return after the 14th with a chance of precipitation...

Jeffrey Dee Jones, 65, of Shelbyville died Monday, November 30, 2020. Due to the current situation, his services will remain private. Feldhaus Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.

Sara Ruth Puckett Robinson, 93, of Wheel died Thursday, December 3, 2020 in Shelbyville. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, December at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in the Mt. Pleasant community of Rutherford County. There will be no visitation. Lawrence Funeral Home, Chapel Hill, is handling arrangements.

Timothy Durand Harris, 61, of Shelbyville, passed from this life Friday, December 4, 2020, at The Waters of Shelbyville. Arrangements pending from Doak-Howell Funeral Home.

Catherine Irine Oliverson, 74, of La Vergne died Friday, December 4, 2020, at Alive Hospice in Nashville. Arrangements pending from Doak-Howell Funeral Home.

Carolyn Elaine Anthony, 73, of Shelbyville died Friday, December 4, 2020. Arrangements pending from Feldhaus Memorial Chapel.

Earl Russell 'Paw Paw' Lindsay, 80, of Shelbyville, died Thursday, December 3, 2020. Per his request, he is to be cremated and laid to rest by his wife’s side. A private graveside service will be held at New Bethel Baptist Church where he and his wife were long time members.  Doak-Howell Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Martha Lee Tolar, 97, of Wartrace died Friday, December 4, 2020, at Tennova Healthcare-Shelbyville following a brief illness. Per her wishes she will be cremated with no services planned at this time. Doak-Howell Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
