In the last seven days 533 people tested positive for COVID-19 in Bedford County. The state reports that there were 1,774 tests conducted in the county and 30 percent of those tests resulted in a positive outcome. Revia Carol Simmons, 57, of Manchester died Saturday, December 12, 2020 at St. Thomas West in Nashville. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Living Water Pentecostal Church in Manchester with Pastor Rick Clouse officiating. Burial will follow in Zion Hill Cemetery in Hillsboro. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Gowen-Smith Chapel is handling arrangements.

Donald Larry Goforth, 65, of Beechgrove died Wednesday, December 9, 2020. Memorial services will be 3 p.m. Saturday, December 19th, at Hillcrest Funeral Home, James Wade officiating. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m.
