Laura Emogene “Emo” Thompson Payne, 92, of Shelbyville died Friday, January 8, 2021, at home with her family at her side after an extended illness. Graveside service will be held 12:00 noon Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Willow Mount Cemetery with Craig Collins and Jeff Smith officiating. Doak-Howell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

William Price Ray Jr., 89, of Shelbyville departed this earth January 4, 2021. Graveside Memorial Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 17, 2021, at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Anthony Williams officiating. Hillcrest Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

John Edward Turner, 88, of Eagleville died Sunday, January 10, 2021 in Smyrna. He was the father of Elaine Shapcott Tucker of Unionville. Due to the current health crisis, the family will have a private service with burial at Rocky Glade Cemetery. Lawrence Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Chapel Hill is in charge of arrangements,

Mr. Lincoln Douglas White, age 77, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2021. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 13 at Willow Mount Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. at Nelson & Sons Memorial Chapel.

Gary Thomas “Cotton” Whitworth, 63, of Shelbyville passed from this life Saturday, January 9, 2021, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. A private graveside service will be held at Old Blanton Cemetery at a later date. Doak-Howell Funeral Home is serving the family.
