Samuel W. Parker, age 77, of Shelbyville, passed from this life Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at The Heart Remembers following an extended illness. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Doak-Howell Funeral Home with Brother Ron DeWitt officiating. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.

Arthur Houston Butler, 79, of Shelbyville died Friday, January 15, 2021. Graveside services will be held 3:30 p.m. Sunday, January 17th, at Willow Mount Cemetery, Rev. Ray Armstrong officiating. No visitation prior to service. Family asks that masks be worn and social distancing practiced at the service. Hillcrest Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Grace Powell Majors, 87, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday, January 15, 2021, at home under the loving care of her son and Hospice Compassus. Due to the pandemic, a memorial service will be held at a later date. Feldhaus Memorial Chapel is assisting the family.
