Beth Carter and Richard Sudberry announce the birth of a daughter, Sadie Grace Sudberry, on July 6 at 12:55 p.m. The baby girl weighed 7 pounds, 1 oz. She was 20 3/4 inches long.
FCE Club reports (07/24/15)
Butler's Creek FCE met July 20 at the home of Barbara Troxler. Refreshments were prepared by the hostesses: Barbara Troxler, Jean Raby and Joyce Cartwright. Kay Harrell called the meeting to order with the seasonal eating tip, and "A Volunteer" was read by Gloria Crick. 41 students, five local, named Advanced Placement Scholars at Webb (07/22/15)
Five Bedford County students were among 41 students at The Webb School who recently were named Advanced Placement Scholars, making for a school record. Additionally, there were five Webb students who achieved national ranking and one who received an AP International Diploma. Eighty-nine Webb students took a total of 204 AP exams in the spring.
