Balanced scoring in Harris win

INCHESTER -- Harris Middle School's soccer team remains undefeated after a 7-1 victory at Franklin County North in a Central Tennessee Conference match Tuesday afternoon.

The Eagles totally dominated as three players scored two goals each.

Joey Jackson, Jacob Carkuff and David Carrerra combined for six goals with Kirk Reynolds adding the seventh.

Everett Boutwell was in goal.

Franklin County North's goal came late in the game and was just the third goal the Eagle defense has allowed all year.

Harris (7-0, 6-0) plays Tullahoma Middle Schools' combined team Thursday afternoon at Tullahoma East Middle. The varsity squares off at 5 followed by a junior varsity match at 7.

*Harris 5, North 0 (junior varsity): Joey Jackson had a hat-trick, scoring three goals, and Tyler Vannatta and Will Cares each added a goal. The jayvees are 5-0.
