Webb capped off their regular season in exciting fashion as they swept a doubleheader from St. Andrews-Sewanee on Monday. The Feet took the first game 14-7, and riding a strong pitching effort from Jordan Burchett in the second contest, shut out St. Andrews 3-0.

Webb pounded out 13 hits in the first win as Matt Lowe went 4-for-4, including a double and a triple, and scored three runs. Pete Corley went 3-for-3 en route to driving in two runs. Joe Griggs allowed seven hits in picking up the win.

Burchett struck out eight batters, scattered three hits and did not issue a walk in the shutout.

Griggs and Burchett each collected two hits for the Feet (3-11).

Webb hosts St. Andrews again on May 10 to decide which of the two teams will compete for a berth in the Middle Region tournament.
