Roscoe Lanier Stephens of Wartrace died Friday at Bedford County Nursing Home. The mayor of Wartrace for 28 years, he was 86. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Wartrace Baptist Church with the Revs. Bill Bond and Jimmy Gray officiating. Burial will follow at Hollywood Cemetery in Wartrace.
