Cole sentencing delayed again
Sentencing for Ronald Huel Cole, the man convicted of shooting Shelbyville pharmacist Danny Law, has been postponed again.
Two federal officials at the U.S. District Court in Chattanooga on Thursday said Cole's sentencing hearing which was scheduled for 2 p.m. today, has been postponed, but they were unaware of a new date.
Cole shot Law nearly two years ago during a robbery of Renegar's Drug Store on North Main Street when Cole demanded an injection of Demerol. Law provided the shot, grabbed Cole's gun, but a struggle followed during which Cole shot Law with a second gun and Law shot Cole.
