Gene Dalton, 55, of Manchester died there Saturday following an illness of several weeks. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Lawrence Funeral Home in Chapel Hill with James Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Harris Cemetery near Chapel Hill.
