Funeral services for John James Butterworth Jr., 82, of Shelbyville, who died Thursday at St. Thomas Hospital, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Gowen-Smith Chapel. The Rev. Beth Gaines, the Rev. Bill Cartwright and the Rev. Bill Pennycuff will officiate and burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
