Funeral services for Roy Porter Jr., 71, of Shelbyville, who died Wednesday at Bedford County Medical Center, will be 1 p.m. today at Thompson Grove Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Herbert Lee Stewart will officiate and burial will follow in Mt. Ararat Cemetery. H. Preston Scales & Sons Funeral Home, Murfreesboro, is in charge of arrangements.
