Edna Jones Shoffner, a longtime health care educator in Bedford County, died in her sleep on Tuesday.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Shofner's Lutheran Chapel. Burial will follow in Shofner Church Cemetery. Doak-Howell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
