Funeral services for Bernice Smotherman Dalton, 77, of Wheel, who died Tuesday following an extended illness, will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Lawrence Funeral Home in Chapel Hill. Burial will follow at Harris Cemetery in Marshall County.

Visitation with the family will be 5-8 p.m. today.
