Homer Calvin Smith Sr. of Petersburg, Ky., formerly of Shelbyville, died Saturday at the St. Elizabeth Hospice, Covington, Ky.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron, Ky. Burial, with full military honors, will follow at Petersburg (Ky.) Cemetery.

Visitation 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
