William Hargrove Sr., 85, of Rover died Sunday after an extended illness. Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Lawrence Funeral Home, Chapel Hill, with the Rev. James Doyle officiating. Burial will follow at Simpson Cemetery in Rover.

Visitation with the family will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday.
