In singles action, Webb No. 1 Jay Chi battled back from an 0-6 deficit by winning six straight games, only to lose 8-6 to Dillon Wade in one of the best matches of the day.
"I was very pleased with both the girls and boys tennis teams," first-year Webb coach Mike Rich said. "Each win was indicative of the hard work the kids have been putting in during practice and each loss was truly a learning experience that each of us will use to better our performance next time around."
