Betty Raney Haynes, 70, of Cedar Grove died Thursday at her home after an extended illness. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Lawrence Funeral Home, Chapel Hill, with Larry Sanders and Mark Murphy officiating. Burial will follow at Swanson Cemetery, Chapel Hill.

Visitation with the family will begin 4 p.m. Friday.
