Hazel Epps "Miss Hazel" Beavers, 87, of Waynesboro died July 26 at Wayne County Medical Center. She was born in Bell Buckle but had lived in Waynesboro for over 42 years.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12 at Waynesboro Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where she was a member, with Bobby Pinckley and Mark Allison officiating.
