James Michael Pope, 26, of Smyrna died Friday. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Lawrence Funeral Home in Chapel Hill. Burial will follow at Simpson Cemetery in Rover.

Visitation with the family will begin at 6 p.m. today.
