Dorothy Tait Fittz

Funeral services for Dorothy Tait Fittz, 95, of Wenatchee, Wash., a former resident of Shelbyville, will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at Wartrace Baptist Church with the Rev. John Meyer officiating. Burial will follow at Willow Mount Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Knoll officiating. A reception will be held at the church after burial; a special invitation is extended to her former Japanese students in the area.

Visitation with the family will begin 11 a.m. at the church.

Mrs. Fittz died Oct. 7, 2007 after a brief illness.

Doak-Howell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
