Funeral services for Homer J. Jakes, 93, of Shelbyville, who died Sunday, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hillcrest Funeral Home with Hugh Fulford, Geoff Giesemann and Russ Countess officiating. Burial, with military honors, will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
