"Cham Cham took over, got to the basket and was finishing tonight," Webb coach James Garcia said. "We passed the ball well, but we were 6-of-18 from the (foul) line."
The Feet (6-3) carried a slim 8-6 lead into the second quarter and stretched that advantage to 23-12 by halftime.
"Defensively, we've still got a lot of work to do," Garica said. "We didn't look good in the 2-3 zone; man-to-man looked a little bit better."
Ivey Starling's 12 points paced the Cougars.
Middle Tennessee Christian 53, Webb 25: The Lady Cougars picked up their third win in as many chances against Bedford County teams behind a torrid start that put them up 25-8 in the first quarter.
"We came out sluggish and gave up too many easy transition points in the first quarter and just never recovered," Webb coach Ricky Dycus said. "We missed several layups. We have to correct that. We have to have those easy baskets.
"Middle Tennessee Christian is an outstanding team. They are loaded with talent from top to bottom."
The Lady Cougars went into the break up 33-13 and advanced to the fourth frame ahead 43-23. Alexa Middleton and Haley Meeks both netted 11 points to lead all scorers.
Kat Coffey's nine points and Karly Grissom's eight headed the Lady Feet (2-7) scoring column.
"We handled the press decently, not as well as I'd like, but it didn't really bother us," said Dycus, whose team lost the turnover ratio 13-7.
"We're starting to look up the floor. Things are looking better."
Webb heads to Unionville to face Community Junior High on Monday night at 6:30.
