Early voting begins Wednesday

Bedford County Administrator of Elections Summer Leverette inspects a sample voting machine like the ones which have already been inspected and sealed for use in early voting for the Feb. 5 primary elections. Early voting starts Wednesday and runs through Jan. 31 in the basement of the county courthouse. Hours are 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 8 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. Friday, and 9 a.m. until noon on Saturday. The office will be closed Jan. 21 for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. For more information, call 684-0531.

SO I MIGHT GO THERE AND NOT GET TO VOTE AFTER FOUR ON TUESDAY OR FRIDAY,BUT UNTIL FIVE THIRTY ON MONDAY,WEDNESDAY,AND THURSDAY,EXCEPT IT IS NOON ON SATURDAY WHEN IT IS OVER.POLLS OPEN UP EVERY MORNING AT EIGHT,EXCEPT ON FRIDAY WHEN IT OPENS AT SEVEN A.M.,AND ON SATURDAY IT OPENS UP AT NINE A.M..I AM AS CONFUSED OVER THE POLL SCHEDULE AS I AM OVER WHO TO VOTE FOR.CLOSED ON SUNDAY FOR SURE.GRANDPAT
