The Lady Feet (5-9) carried a 26-21 advantage into halftime but were outscored 22-14 over the final two quarters.
"There were several instances where we gave up easy baskets or made inexperienced plays that added up and cost us," Webb coach Jeff Mitchell said. "In a close game, we just didn't make plays. They capitalized and made shots and we didn't down the stretch."
Elizabeth Lawrence joined Quao in double figures with 11 points.
Kelly Hastings paced Berean with 13 and Kristin Lee had 12.
Berean 56, Webb 49 (B): The Feet were dealt only their second loss of the season thanks to a lackluster second half where they lost control of a two-point upper hand at the break.
The difference in the game came behind the 3-point arc as Berean nailed five 3s compared to none for the Bell Buckle boys.
"They are a real experienced bunch with a lot of seniors, and they play together as a team," Mitchell said. "Our kids had a great second quarter to get back in it but just got outplayed in the second half. They made shots and we didn't at critical times."
Hunter Foutch netted 19 points for the Feet (12-2). Logan Burchett contributed 10.
Rob Graham's 22 led all scorers for Berean. James Rechenbach chipped in 17.
Webb skips over to Cascade tonight. The girls game is scheduled to tip off at 6.
