Thomas Phillips "Phil" Ayers II, 85, of Shelbyville died suddenly Monday. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Doak-Howell Funeral Home with Monnie Caine officiating. Burial will follow in the Shofner Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday.
