Lawrence "L.E." Byard

Lawrence "L.E." Byard, 79, of Clarksville, died Thursday at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church of St. Bethlehem, where he was a member and deacon, with the Rev. Jeff Burris and the Rev. Steve Murphree officiating. Burial will follow at Austin-Smith Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3-9 p.m. Saturday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel in Clarksville and from 1 p.m. until the time of service Sunday at the church
