After trailing by only two at halftime, the cold performance turned to ice in the final 24 minutes as Webb concluded its season by dropping a 71-50 decision to homestanding Tipton-Rosemark Academy.

"It's very disappointing because they may be a better team, but I just don't think we gave them our best shot. We just didn't dial up our best game tonight, which would have been nice."
In what turned out to be a tale of two halves, the visitors battled the host Rebels toe-to-toe in the first two quarters.
The Feet managed a 6-0 spurt early to take a three-point lead and held their biggest advantage of the night at 13-8 later in the opening frame. TRA rallied with a 9-0 run and maintained a slim 17-15 edge heading into the second stanza.
Webb put together another 6-0 burst midway into the second period to jump ahead by two before the Rebels drained two consecutive 3-pointers to seize a 27-23 advantage. The Feet responded once again, tying the contest at 30-all before settling for a 32-30 deficit at the break.
The hosts took command early in the second half, opening with a quick 8-1 run to grab a nine-point cushion. As Webb's shooting woes hit rock bottom Tipton-Rosemark was near-perfect from the field and raced to a 52-39 lead following three quarters.
"We didn't really do a good job of staying in front of them and denying their good kids the ball, especially in the second half," Mitchell said. "We turned the ball over some because their pressure gave us a little bit of trouble and we didn't handle it real well.
"They've got two awful good guards…better than we've seen all year. We kind of knew that was what we were getting into, but we didn't play very well defensively and there were several key times that we didn't box out. We're not going to get over-the-back calls doing that."
The onslaught continued in the final period for the Rebels, who outscored the Feet 19-11 in the closing eight minutes.
Senior Jacob Arnett poured in a game-high 30 points to guide the winners. Sean Brown added 12 and Michael Gordon tacked on 10.
Playing his final game for the Feet, Jordan Burchett led his squad with 21 points along with 12 rebounds. Logan Burchett tossed in 10.
The Rebels (21-10) now advance to the Division II-A Final Four this week at Lipscomb University, while the Feet close the curtain on the 2007-08 season with a school-best 20-6 record.
"We're extremely proud of them," Mitchell said. "Everybody loses their last game, except for the state champion and that's just the way it goes. We're excited about (the future). We hope to be in this kind of game, hopefully hosting one with a great chance to make it to the Final Four most years."
