Physicians tour new hospital facility

Keri McKamey, Emergency Room Nurse Manager (at left) and Ted Cate, Facility Operations Director of Bedford County Medical Center lead a tour through the future emergency room of BCMC's replacement facility, Heritage Medical Center. The tour was one of several held for doctors and department heads on Tuesday. The ER in the $40 million facility will have 14 rooms to serve the public with emergency care.

We had the name wrong. We fixed it on the web site after commenters here called it to our attention, but it was too late to fix it in the print newspaper. We have a correction and an apology running today in the print newspaper.
