Students take action

Saturday, March 1, 2008

Student council members of Central High School donated items suitable for small children who were victims of storms earlier this month. Exit Celebration Realty has been collecting goods for storm victims and the third load is expected to be delivered to affected areas by Johnson Bolt & Screw early this week. Kenzie Smithson, Staci Garner and Keri Beth Garrette represented the student council and Larry Dickens and Johnny Foster represented the real estate company.

I don't really think that the storm victims will care if these kids are wearing khakis or jeans. I think the point is they put forth a helping hand to those in need. I would like to see many more kids as well as adults do the same. "Great Job!!! Thank you for caring enough to participate"
