Friday night's snowfall and cold temperatures weren't enough to freeze this stream at H.V. Griffin Park. National Weather Service observers reported about 1 1/2 inches across most areas of Bedford County with 2 1/2 inches in Wartrace. Much of the snow had already melted by Saturday afternoon.
