Michelle Lynn Andrus, 21, Shelbyville Mills Road, was stopped by Officer David Curley in the parking lot of a Madison Street bar, As a computer check showed her license had been revoked for DUI, Andrus allegedly told a waitress who was checking on the commotion that she would "have to be arrested for DUI."
Andrus failed field sobriety tests, Curley said, and what he described as a "small, partially hand-rolled cigarette containing a leafy green substance" was found in the car's glove box.
Charges of possession of a schedule VI drug, DUI and driving on a revoked license were filed against Andrus.
Signs stolen
Two signs at a new home under construction on Dixon Road home were stolen overnight Tuesday.
William Todd Davidson said signs have been damaged or stolen from the property for some time, Deputy Kevin Roddy said.
Jail intake
