Just four days after eluding officers for several hours, a Shelbyville man was arrested again late Friday night on drug charges. Aaron Churchwell, 29, of Nashville was captured at a West Highland Street home where investigators from the Bedford County Sheriff's Department and 17th Judicial District Drug Task foound crack cocaine, marijuana and money suspected to be drug sale proceeds. Lavon Ransom of Shelbyville was arrested later on Brown Lane where over a quarter-kilo of crack, powdered cocaine, Ecstasy, scales and a 9 mm pistol were confiscated. Looking over the captured goods are, seated from left, Sheriff Randall Boyce and Chief Deputy David Williams Jr., and, standing from left, assistant DTF director Tim Miller, Deputy Josh Tolar and Deputy Matt Doak.
