The Cascade junior left-hander posted his second no-hitter and 21st strikeout in seven days on Monday night against Community in a 10-0 win, coming to within a booted ground ball off the bat of Kerry Breshears in the final inning from perfection.
The performance came on the heels of two saves, one of which came against Blackman in the Warrior Classic. And, to spread a little icing on the cake, Brown also had seven knocks for the week to add 200 points to his season batting average.

"Josh has played lights out the past few games and has taken his place among our team leaders," Cascade coach Chris Parker said. "We gave him some pretty good offensive support and caught the ball behind him tonight."
Corey Mullins continues hitting at a torrid pace for the Champions (11-2, 5-0 9-A) as he personally put the first run on the board on a long drive over the left field fence, his fifth of the season, in the first inning.
Sophomore Cody Pierce started for the Vikings (2-2-1, 2-1) and was the victim of some shoddy defense. The visitors committed six errors in the six-inning contest.

"We simply need to come out tomorrow and put the ball in play a lot more consistently," Viking coach Josh Burrahm said. "Cody pitched a pretty good game except for a couple of mistakes but we didn't give him any support with the bats or in the field."
Brown had three hits, including two triples and two RBI to help his own cause. Kyle Clanton and Tyler Bowen pitched in with two hits and two runs scored to lead the Orange and Black attack.
Community and Cascade hook up again in Unionville today at 6.
