Mayor Don Gallagher said he will be sending a letter out to water customers as soon as the town's Board of Mayor and Aldermen decide on a course of action in regards to the water situation.
"It's still an ongoing problem and we're looking at alternatives," Gallagher said of the turbidity levels at Cascade Spring, which caused water customers in north Bedford County to boil their water for nearly two weeks.
Also, Gallagher met with officials with the Duck River Utility Commission (DRUC) and the Tullahoma Utilities Board on Friday and Tullahoma will be sending rate proposals Monday so that Wartrace could buy water from its Coffee County neighbor.
The funding to build a line to Wartrace is already lined up through a $150,000 grant from Rural Development, Gallagher said Saturday.

I'm glad they lifted the order. But I would still like to know what the level is. It was only mentioned once that I remember, and if I am correct it is supposed to be 1.0, but was running around 3.9. WHAT IS IT NOW?
And how are we going to get water from Tullahoma, if we stopped giving them water from Normandy Lake?
