Although Lady Bronco pitcher Cassie Wanamaker struck out 17, the Lady Champions were able to scratch across enough runs to win 3-1.
Lauren Claxton walked and scored the first Cascade run on an Aimee Taylor bunt in top of the third.
In the fourth, Leigha Carter doubled and courtesy runner Jessica Walker came home with the eventual game-winning run on a Laura Jett single.
Carter manned the pitching duties, going seven innings, striking out three and walking three.
Wanamaker took the loss despite her 17 Ks and only two walks.
The victory pushes the Lady Champions' record to 14-6 overall and 10-1 in 9-A, which puts them in position to win a district title if they can defeat visiting Forrest on Tuesday night at 6.
"We're going to have to be more selective at the plate and put the ball in play," Cascade coach Jeremy Austin said. "On the defensive side of the ball, we're going to have to be fundamentally sound. We can't give up the easy play and make errors that cost us a base or two at a time.
"Forrest is one of those teams that if you let them get an extra base on you, they'll put a base hit in the hole and next thing you know one error becomes a run very quick."
The Lady Rockets took the first regular season contest 7-0 in Chapel Hill back on March 25.
Tuesday's contest will double as Senior Night for departing players Erin McBee and Emily Hale.
