William Roy "Bill" Newsom

Funeral services for William Roy "Bill" Newsom, 53, of Wheel, who died Monday at Alive Hospice at Saint Thomas Hospital, will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Lawrence Funeral Home in Chapel Hill. The Rev. Mike Hannah will officiate and burial will follow in Cothran Cemetery in Rover.

Visitation with the family will begin 4 p.m. today.
