Needing a win so that both teams had one blemish in district play, the Lady Champions were knocked back on their heels in the first inning.
The Lady Rockets (26-6, 12-0) batted around and jumped out to a 6-0 advantage.
The visitors tacked on four more runs over the next two frames to increase their upper hand to 10-0 and pitcher Shelby Stinnett did her part on the bump. Forrest's sophomore right-hander carried a perfect game into the fourth inning before Aimee Taylor's double. Cascade (14-7, 10-2) did not get another hit from then on.
Stinnett finished with six strikeouts and one walk in five innings pitched.
Leigha Carter took the loss on the bump, giving up 10 hits and three walks.
Cascade's first game in the district tournament is Thursday afternoon against Van Buren County in Wartrace. The remaining rounds of the tourney move to Chapel Hill starting on Saturday.
