Six Feet score in road victory

Friday, May 2, 2008

Webb got the better of their East/Middle Region matchup with host St. Andrew's-Sewanee by winning 6-0 on Thursday.

Josh Ferrell opened up the scoring with a goal in eighth minute on assist from Zach Wagner. Daniel Hoover took an assist from Sean Kim to put the visitors up 2-0 at intermission.

Muslim Shamayev found the back of the net shortly after halftime thanks in part to a pass from Caleb Rasnick. James Tian, SeungHo Chun and Kim followed with goals in succession with assists via Wagner, Shamayev and Ferrell, respectively.

"We handled the ball real well, especially in the second half," Webb coach Adrian Anderson said. "SAS has gotten significantly better since we played them (last time)."

Zach Crownover had six saves in goal for the Feet (7-6-2, 4-2-1 East/Middle).

Webb heads to Seymour to face King's Academy at 6 p.m. eastern time to finish up the regular season schedule.
