The horses were described by the owner, a Coffee County resident who leases the land, as white with brown spots, black with two white spots and red.
Deputy Benjamin Burris was told Monday by the horses' owner he had driven the area searching for them and found no damaged fences through which they could have escaped.
The horses were last seen last Wednesday, Burris said.
Stealing from church
Small hand tools were stolen from a shed next to Mt. Herman Church of the Nazarene, Mt. Herman Road, overnight Saturday.
A member arrived at the church Sunday morning, noticed the shed's door open and notified authorities, Deputy Steven Daugherty said.
A lock was cut off a latch and a set of tire tracks were noticed nearby by Daugherty.
