Robert Cecil 'Buddy' Thompson

Robert Cecil "Buddy" Thompson, 74, of Shelbyville, died Monday at Tennessee State Veterans Home in Murfreesboro. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Thompson Grove Missionary Baptist Church, where he was a member, with the Rev. Herbert Lee Stewart officiating. Burial, with full military honors, will follow at Willow Mount Cemetery. Honors will also be presented by the Shelbyville Fire Department.

Visitation will be noon-4 p.m. Friday at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel and beginning noon Saturday at the church.
