Traffic stop leads to marijuana charges

Tuesday, June 10, 2008

Police say they found marijuana in a truck after its driver was stopped for an alleged light law violation Saturday.

Brian Steven Wilson, 18, Myers Street, the driver, and Paul Dusty Tucker, 26, Troupe Road, were both charged after a small bag of marijuana was confiscated from under the front seat and two marijuana cigarettes were discovered in a tackle box on the seat, Officer David Curley said.

Tucker was charged with simple possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and public intoxication. A charge of disorderly conduct was added after he allegedly refused to stop cursing officers after arriving at the judicial commissioner's office. Tucker posted $3,250 bond.

The man was from Wartrace but arrested in Murfreesboro for exposing. At least that is what the 10:00 news reported.

I was told that a man was arrested last night in Bell Buckle/Wartrace area for exposing himself? Has anyone else heard of this? I am just curious because we had an incident Friday night at our house with a man doing this.
