Massive white awnings stretch in front of the hospital's main entrance and a bouncing playground for the children waits to be inflated.
The new facility on U.S. 231 North will open its doors to the community for a special preview, and there will be food, entertainment, games and hospital tours during the event.
"We're going to have lots of fun out there that day," said Pam Fisher, who directs the hospital's marketing and public relations, speaking to the media last Friday. "Everything's free -- popcorn, ice cream, lunch."
The new medical center is scheduled to open July 12.
