REPORT: Cascade finds new baseball coach

Monday, June 16, 2008

Brandon Bassham has decided to leave his post as head baseball coach at Middle Tennessee Christian to take the same position at District 9-A rival Cascade, sources indicate.

The hiring will not be official until the Bedford County Board of Education meets on Thursday evening.

The spot was vacated when Chris Parker left after five seasons to become Blackman's head baseball coach.

WOW! Only 1 comment, Cascade seems to be VERY excited about this new hire.

Yes, this is what we need at Cascade, someone that can take the program the Parkers have built and move it even further. We want to play games, many of them, and play against the strongest competition available and Bassham will do this if the administration lets him.
