After much schedule flopping, the second day of Shelbyville's second team camp is in the books and a trio of local teams knocked out several games.

Each varsity team is taking the court an average of three times a day.

Community was taken down by East Literature 50-36 in their second game of the morning at Thomas Intermediate School.

Cascade had control of their contest against Knoxville Catholic in Wartrace before crumbling late and losing 38-36 thanks to a layup with 2.6 seconds on the clock. The Lady Champions bounced back to take down Coffee County 40-35 an hour later.

Shelbyville Central hosted former Eaglette Ashley Johnson's Lebanon team this morning at 10. Central is scheduled to tip off against the team that ended their season in Murfreesboro back in March at 7 tonight when Oak Ridge visits.

Cascade gets their shot at Johnson today at 1 after an early morning affair versus Overton. They also host West Greene at 4.

The Viqueens better fill up on gas before heading out this morning. They tripped to Harris Middle to battle Tullahoma at 10 a.m. After lunch they head to Central to challenge Clay-Chalkville at 2. The Purple and Gold round out their long Tuesday with a game versus Clay County at Thomas at 6 p.m.

M.K. Potts should be a big addition to an already good team at Cascade. If Coach Spencer can get someone to step up at the post position they will be a serious contender to win District and Region this year.
