The 36 teams are anxious to climb out of their air mattresses and onto the hardwood for basketball games spread out over six different floors before the TSSAA's dead period kicks in on Sunday.
Shelbyville Central hosted former Eaglette and current Lebanon coach Ashley Johnson on Tuesday and handed the young lady whose name hangs in the rafters a 39-28 loss.
"It was very, very weird. It was very, very tough because I'm still an Eaglette at heart, and I'm always going to be an Eaglette at heart," said Johnson of being back on her home floor but working against Shelbyville. "I find myself sometimes being like, 'Great pass.' But, at the same time, like any good coach, I want to win."
Cascade also got the better of Lebanon 48-41 after taking down Overton earlier in the day in Wartrace.
Barring a late addition to the schedule, the Eaglettes wrapped up their varsity games this morning against Overton.
Community battled Rhea County at the Recreation Center early, and the Viqueens bounce over to Thomas Intermediate School to challenge Clarksville at noon.
Cascade also took on Rhea County before the dew left the ground and host Clay County at noon.

Ashley, is a great young lady, and with the schools support, she will be a great mentor for Lebanon Women's basketball
