Early voting to begin July 18

Early voting for the Aug. 7 primary and general elections will take place July 18 through Aug. 2, according to the county election office. July 8 is the last date to register to vote in this election.

Early voting takes place in the basement of the county courthouse. Hours are from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday.

There is sometimes a shortage of candidates for the urban districts on the county road board, presumably because the board's primary responsibility is for county-maintained roads outside Shelbyville. The county commission will appoint candidates to serve if none are elected.

hey Where can I get a yard sign to support my candidate. Mr Allison for school board.

...just a word if you had a complaint about the school board get out and vote!!!

If you do not vote you should not complain. The ball is now in your court voters!!!!!!

If your representivtive does not have someone running against them you can still show them how you feel by not giving them your courtesy vote.
