The victim told Officer Gregg Loyd the woman waved him down as he drove along Carter Street and asked if he could loan some money.
After the victim told her he had no money to loan while holding $100, a man appeared and placed him in a chokehold while pointing a handgun at his head, Loyd said.
The woman allegedly tried to take the $100 from his hand, succeeding when she bit his forearm, he told police.
After taking the money, the suspects ran into a nearby home where another man was inside, Loyd said. The victim said he went to the house, asked for his money and was told by the woman that she would call police.
The victim told police he hadn't planned on reporting the incident until a relative notified him of the women's alleged plans to accuse him.
Liquor stolen
An estimated $500 worth of liquor was "stolen or destroyed" from Economy Liquors, Madison Street, late Monday night, police said.
Officers responding to an alarm at 11:14 p.m. said they discovered a window which had been shattered with a brick. A store employee inventoried the missing and destroyed liquor, investigators said.
A burglary attempt was made during the night at the Department of Human Services office next door to the liquor store, police said.
An employee told police she arrived at 7:15 a.m. to find a window broken and large amount of blood on the window sill.
DHS workers said nothing had been taken, police report.

He sould just plead guilty and get it over with...
Even if he didn't do it! Thats what my child had to do.
How can such an upstanding citizen be arrested for domestic assault....LOL
It seems to me our officers are waisting their time arresting these people, if our courts are going to just shake their hands and tell them not to do it again!
