Reed's hit wins game for Sox

The Shelbyville Sox took down the Murfreesboro Bombers in exciting fashion on Wednesday night in Wartrace.

Trailing 3-2 with one down in their last at-bat, Stefin Reed came through with a walk-off base hit over second base to plate Zach King with the tying score and Bryan Price with the game-winner.

Tyler Bowman started on the hill for Shelbyville (5-10) and twirled all eight innings in the win.

The Sox look for their third straight 'W' on Sunday afternoon when they battle the Nashville Brewers at Hillsboro High School.
